She discovered how wine became a staple of every social and emotional journey and a drink of passion, fit for any occasion. As a Dentist, she admired how wine bonded the body, soul and mind.

Just like traveling, the wine gave a sense of freedom; a spirit of discovery and was an adventure in the bottle waiting to be enjoyed. Living in the unique climate of California, Macy thought what if she could create wines with unique stories to bond all travelers and those yearning for freedom, adventure and discovery together even if they never set foot in California.

Her extensive search led her to a multi-award-winning, European-trained viticulturist and winemaker to bring her dream to reality. She would soon be married and cute Nik was to be born. It was Nik’s keen interest in Pegasus toys as she was growing up that actually inspired the name Nik Pegasus. Soon, Macy’s fiery ambitions came back to her, and together with her husband, Mike, she founded Nik Pegasus Inc. and created a profile of distinct red wines to celebrate her happy ending in life in the golden climate of Paso Robles, California, and its infinite stories. A true adventure was to be discovered.
